Battle #5

Step Royale’s fifth battle went down April 16th at Old Dominion University at 7 PM with the Iconz hosting the event. Over 200 people came out to watch 11 teams break out their best step moves. DJ Jumpoff spun at the event, getting the crowd hyped up. In the end of this hard-stepping battle, Umoja was crowed Step Royalty.

Step Royale has extended the deadline for mini-grant applications to February 16th! What's a mini-grant? It's money to get your new step team set with outfits, transportation to battles, and whatever other costs you need covered to take your best shot at becoming the ultimate step champions in Hampton Roads!

Step Royale is getting fired up for our 2010-2011 Season and this year, we're handing out $600 to a few lucky step teams who apply and win... It's easy! 10 minutes before the curtains open, the crowd is pouring in, you can hear steppers running from room to room putting finishing touches on outfits and getting in a last minute rehearsal while dreaming they'll go home with the winning prize, their faces on a billboard for all to see.
